The 2021 Field Blend represents only our second 100% Estate Pinot Noir release within the last fifteen years. Like the Founder's Cuvée, this bottling was a limited production of just ten barrels—this wine is a true and authentic expression of our vineyard. The Field Blend celebrates the single cherished block where we've cultivated a tapestry of Pinot Noir clones that mature together, influenced by the same soils, climate, and meticulous care. Each clone—some as small as a single row—contributes its distinct personality, and together they create a wine of extraordinary dimension and character. A mixture of traditional European clones of Pommard and Wädenswil are blended with a smattering of Dijon clones and a small percentage of famously smuggled "suitcase" clones, Calera, and Mt. Eden. The result is a masterful symphony of characteristics.
